Mark Sellan
Founder of and head lackie for Geek World Living Dot Com, he earns a meager living working as a UNIX Systems Administrator and is currently employed by St. Louis Community College. In addition to wasting copious amounts of time on personal computing projects and this website, he also spends lots of time hanging out with three cats, watching sci-fi programming, and digging up the backyard to grow stuff other than grass.
Some of his time is spent time taking pictures of all kinds of things but mostly the three cats and stuff growing or living in the backyard. He also spends lots of time taking classes at St. Louis Community College. This is due in part to his geeky nature but also due to the fact that since he works for the College classes cost very very little. For five years he attendend a large midwestern university in a vain attempt to obtain a degree in a useless field but was unsuccessful due to a persistent resistance to learn a foreign language. He would like to spend rather more time with his spouse, Court, than he gets to, but time, money and life continue to complcate that desire. When he's not doing any of these things he's usually doing other things.

Court Singrey
Earns his living pimping himself out to various hospitals where he provides outstanding care and maintenance for various models of human machines, also known as people. In addition to BA degrees in multiple useless fields he has a BSN and is a licensed RN who specializes in Critical Care nursing. Despite the low wages, difficult work environment, sucky hours, and bodily wear and tear, he generally likes his profession. When he's not sticking people with needles or titrating drips, he works diligently trying to discover the secrets for independent wealth and constantly hunts for and reprioritizes global travel opportunities.
He has an unfathomable capacity for watching foreign films and actually enjoys physcial activities such as running, swimming, and tennis. Because of his geeky nature, he loves learning foreign languages and while already fluent in French, he also has a pretty good handle on Spanish, Italian, and German. He has plans to conquer Danish next. Once a "dog person", the actual experience of living with three cats has helped him see the light regarding god's loveliest creature on the planet. He also spends as much time as he can possibly stand with his spouse, Mark (that guy up above), without significantly increasing his risk for stroke, high blood pressure, or mental illness.
